Get the London look... for less!

As a student, I know what it's like to have to scrimp. However much I wish I could afford luxury products, I have to realise it's entirely unrealistic. I'm used to eating value food and I've adapted to living value throughout, from Clothes to Makeup. Instead of shopping in MAC for a foundation like I once may have, I now have to dig through Collection 2000 and Miss Sporty to find a more cost effective approach.

My aim of this post is to show you how there really is no need to go splashing the cash when all you have is pennies! I have shown below two white blazers, both are tailored to a flattering shape, have pockets and a feminin collar. The main difference that cannot be seen by the eye is the price. One is priced at £195.00 and the other at £14.99, just take a second to see if you can tell which one is which.
H&M Blazer £14.99         Topshop Unique £195.00

These two blazers are Worlds apart yet for somebody who wants to wear on trend pieces at budget prices it's perfect. The left blazer is from H&M and the right is a Tux from Unique Topshop. Another example is the leather jacket, I personally have a leather jacket which i spent quite a bit of money on a few years ago but the great thing about a leather jacket is that it is ALWAYS wearable, never really fades from the forefront of fashion and lasts forever.
Missguided Jacket £49.99      Topshop Boutique Jacket £225.00

The two leather jackets I have shown here are very different in price, one listed at £49.99 from Missguided and the other at £225.00 from Topshop Boutique. The obvious difference you will find when looking at cheaper jackets is the faux and real leather. A faux jacket can still be good, don't be scared off! As long as it is quilted and you treat it with care, it can be just as good!

Missguided skirt £16.99     Markus Lupfer ASOS skirt £100.00

Finally, I big trend for A/W 2012 and I believe we will see it continue into 2013 is the skater skirt. The most common skater skirt has to be the leather/faux leather style. I have shown two above, one faux and one real leather with a price difference of around £85.00. To the eye, they are not all that different, I currently own the missguided one shown above and it is very nice if I may say so myself!

I have shown a link below showing a selection of online stores, with a variation of prices.
