So the portrait of Effie Trinket has been released regarding the new movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. This year the exciting gowns of Alexander McQueen A/W 2012 are being used for her character, her personality in the film is shown through McQueen's pieces. She also was seen wearing McQueen in the previous movie, so we are all happy that the collaboration has continued into the second film. I have shown the portrait below.

This is very exciting as it's personally one of my favourite collections of the past few seasons. I loved the lace detailing and the ruffles throughout the collection. You may remember it best for the use of face covering lace pieces, which stood out at all of the Fashion Weeks for A/W 2012. I do hope Sarah Burton has noticed that the outfit will be 2 seasons behind when the film premiers, I guess the McQueen look doesn't really date, it always brings impact and the wow factor.
