So after many years of a much needed scrunchy death - it seems like some very 'clever' person out there has decided it's time they resurrect. However unhappy I feel about the news, I am however open to see how designers and high street giants adapt this once viral trend to fit in to today's society. I know as a kid I had velvet ones, sequin ones - in all different colours and sizes. The bigger the better.
The scrunchy faded out when the hair bobble arrived, not the wisest move for our hair to say the least. The bobble was tied so tightly around our strands of hair that one by one our hairs began cracking off at the strain. Perhaps one of the more positive points regarding the old fashioned scrunchy?

That's right. I saw these. Now, I think I've made my opinions quite clear on the old fashioned scrunchy but as a BIG fan of the leather - I actually quite enjoyed looking in the glass over sized jar filled with scrunchy shaped goodies. There were black, navy and white leather ones, tartans and metallics.
