Winter Nails

Just thought I'd show some of my winter nail designs I have painted over the last couple of months. So in my mind; winter is blues, greens and reds. Blue for the cold frost, red of the warm fire and green for the christmas tree.
I began with NYC blue paint and used a glitter frosty feel with Rimmel's precious stones. I then used a Barry M top coat to seal the deal. This clung to my nails for a number of weeks without much wear and tear. I was impressed.
Secondly, my most recent paint. When travelling in Berlin I picked up this blue glitter paint at the American Apparel store (ironic) and was dying to try it out. After two layers it created such a nice shine and it's not too thick either. I then topped with a Barry M top coat and it is still going strong 5 days later.
Yellow? Yes that's right. Felt like a change, picked up this Rimmel sun yellow paint in the summer and hadn't used it so decided to paint on 2 layers accompanied by a River Island glitter top coat. It looked simple, cute and sophisticated.
Finally, the transfer. I hadn't tested the nail transfer thing before, but ebay has some great designs. You can get pretty much anything you want. So I decided on a few different designs, including cats, stars and hearts. The first design I used and the one I have decided to show (through pure coolness) is the Breaking Bad design. Which is again ontop of the NYC blue and sealed with a Barry M topcoat.

Thanks for reading!
