Founded only earlier this year Sunbury Apparel have given themselves a big task; a street brand emerging into a market filled with street brands. Once a street brand catches on however, they take over the population. We can see this with brands such as Hype and Stussy.
Through social media they are managing to build up a successful following and sell an array of products with unique designs. Twitter seems to be taking to the new brand a little better than Facebook, this is seen commonly through new clothing lines.
Sunbury's designs are simple with their first piece featuring a tattooed lady (possibly Kat Von D?) and ones since featuring a variation of artistic creations. They are trying to make their text become memorable but they have used two different fonts throughout their pieces so far. I think they need to decide on one to really create a high impact brand.
Overall, a really good leap into the fashion furness, a scary place where survival of the fittest really is key. I'm really interested in seeing what their next move is!
Find them at these links... Twitter, Facebook or Big Cartel!
